Renee M. Howard

Renee is experienced in representing hospitals and other health care providers. She practices in civil and criminal investigations and litigation of alleged billing fraud and violations of the federal False Claims Act, physician self-referral, and Anti-Kickback laws. She has assisted clients with conducting internal investigations of allegations of fraud or other noncompliance with state or federal health care laws. Renee also advises clients on Medicare reimbursement and payment issues, structuring financial relationships under fraud and abuse and self-referral laws, and other regulatory issues.
