Our employment practice involves advising employers on a full range of employment issues, everything from how to avoid employment-related lawsuits to how to set up a faculty practice plan to compensate medical school physicians.
We also help employers evaluate wrongful termination and employment discrimination claims. If there are meritorious defenses, we take steps to secure an early dismissal of the claims. If the claims have merit, we help employers explore settlement opportunities. When early dismissal or settlement is not possible, we have the experience needed to achieve favorable results for clients through lawsuits and other dispute resolution avenues.
Although Bennett Bigelow & Leedom represents a variety of employers, many of them are health care organizations such as hospitals and physician groups, and educational institutions such as colleges and universities.
