Federal Court Dismisses Hospital Peer Review Antitrust Case
On May 24, 2007, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington dismissed a federal antitrust lawsuit filed by a physician against Bennett Bigelow & Leedom clients Kadlec Medical Center and members of Kadlec's Medical Staff arising from the termination of the physician's staff privileges. The Court found that terminated physician lacked standing to bring the antitrust claims because there was no apparent injury to competition in the physician's local market. The BBL team representing the hospital and medical staff was led by David Robbins. Perry v. Rado, et al. (E.D. Wash. Docket CV-07-5001-LRS)
