Associate

Before joining BB&L, James honed his litigation skills in courtrooms throughout Western Washington.  He defended insured individuals and entities in a variety of civil matters including complex personal injury claims, property line disputes, and construction defect litigation.  He also had the honor of serving as a public defender representing clients charged with misdemeanors, which sharpened his trial and advocacy skills.  Prior to law school, James taught high school for five years and enjoyed coaching Special Olympics basketball and soccer teams.

Outside of law, James enjoys cooking and spending time with his family including two young children.
