June 24, 2022 – Congratulations to Mike Madden, Jenny Churas, and the rest of the BB&L team for a defense verdict in favor of their client, a local hospital. The allegation was that the vascular neurologists failed to obtain a consult for possible thrombectomy in a stroke patient, resulting in the patient’s death. After a three-week trial, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of the defendants. (King County Superior Court, Case No. 20-2-01323-4 KNT).
